Bandhavgarh – tigers, history and forest
Bandhavgarh National Park in Umaria district is among India’s best-known tiger reserves, set amid sal forests, rocky hills and grasslands. The park also holds the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort and the reclining Vishnu statue known as Shesh Shaiya, which combine wildlife and heritage in one trip.

Distance & best time
